Here are some of the options and equipment available to this copy:
The Bentley Continental GT, launched in 2003, is a grand touring car produced by Bentley Motors. It is the first model introduced after the brand was acquired by Volkswagen AG in 1998 and the first Bentley to use mass-production techniques, in contrast to previous models, which were built in an artisanal way. Inspired by the 1994 Java concept, the Continental GT aimed to make Bentley more accessible, while maintaining its exclusivity.
The first generation, produced from 2003 to 2011, is based on the Volkswagen Group's D1 platform, shared with the Bentley Flying Spur and the Audi A8. Under the hood, a 6.0-liter twin-turbo W12 engine develops 560 horsepower and 650 Nm of torque, allowing acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and a maximum speed of 318 km/h. The model has permanent all-wheel drive based on a Torsen differential.
The car, unveiled at the 2002 Paris Motor Show, marked a change for Bentley, offering production on a larger scale while maintaining luxurious finishes. As a tribute to its prestige, the Continental GT was even chosen by the musician Prince, who owned a Baby Blue model, now on display in Paisley Park after his death in 2016.
