- Vehicle in excellent condition
- Up to date maintenance log
- Reinforced IMS
This Porsche 911 Type 997 Carrera 4S, with 108,500 KM on the odometer, was put into circulation on January 11, 2006 in Italy and arrived in France on September 3, 2019, the date on which its second owner purchased it.
Presented in a Kerguelen Gray color, combined with a dark blue leather interior, this 997 Carrera 4S offers a rather rare configuration. The exterior is in excellent condition, except for a very slight impact on the windshield, while the interior has only a few creases on the front passenger seat, without altering its overall appeal.
Under the hood, this 911 is equipped with the 3.8L flat-six engine delivering 355 horsepower, coupled to the manual gearbox. This 997.1 has undergone rigorous maintenance, including a major overhaul in March 2023 at LJ Motors Sport. The IMS system was strengthened, and an endoscopy of the cylinders confirmed that there were no problems. A new jumper cable has also been installed, and the technical inspection is clean. All consumables are in good condition, and no costs are expected.

The Porsche 911 Type 997 was unveiled in 2004. After the radical changes of the 996 generation, the 997 returned to a more traditional design, including the iconic oval headlights, reminiscent of those of the 993.
For the first time since 1977, the Carrera and Carrera S are equipped with different engines. The 997 therefore features a reworked version of the 3.6 flat-six from the 996 phase 2, while the Carrera S has a completely new 3.8 flat-six developing 355 horsepower.
Like all 911s since the 964, the 997 can be equipped with additional 2WD at an additional cost of €6,000. Its differential makes it possible to transmit between 5% and 40% of the power to the front axle depending on the condition of the road. Thus, the Carrera 4S maintains the propulsion feeling characteristic of 911s on dry ground, while being more efficient and attentive on wet or irregular surfaces. The model is thus more suitable for regular use, allowing you to enjoy your 911 in all weathers and on all types of surfaces without necessarily having the steering wheel of an experienced pilot.
Despite an increase of 55 kilos compared to a 2S, the Carrera 4S also accelerates from 0 to 100 in 4.8 seconds and reaches a top speed of 288 km/h. Powerful, safe and extremely versatile, the 997 Carrera 4S succeeds in offering an accessible driving experience without sacrificing pleasure, sensations and the 911 philosophy.
