- The soul of Ferrari, the atmospheric V12
Unveiled in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show, the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is part of the large family of models equipped with a V12 in a central front position. A worthy replacement for the 599 GTB, the F12, with its 740 horsepower, carries the colors of the Maranello firm high.
Registered on January 2, 2013, this example of a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta is among the first to leave Italian factories. Its first owner was none other than the founder of the car repair company Brabus, who purchased it from the Ferrari Center in Düsseldorf as a personal vehicle. Sold to the Brabus company itself, this F12 Berlinetta will be purchased by the Ferrari Gauduel Lyon Center. Its second owner purchased this copy with only 970km on the clock.
Perfectly maintained by its first owner as well as by the second, this F12 Berlinetta is in remarkable condition, comparable to new condition from the factory. With only 6,600 kilometers on the clock, it is one of the rare examples on sale at such low mileage. She benefitted from the expertise of the Ferrari Gauduel Lyon Center for all her interviews and has the associated invoices. It has a protective film placed by Ferrari on the wings and on the front bumper.
Configured in a Rosso Corsa red color, its body is flawless. The paint offers brilliance and depth and does not require retouching. The interior, in a Nero color for all the elements, is also in perfect condition. The Daytona seats have no flaws, and combine perfectly with an LED steering wheel and the carbon elements scattered on the dashboard. The instrumentation is fully functional.
On the mechanical side, the V12 in the central front position starts at a quarter turn and offers perfect operation. The 740 horsepower is delivered without difficulty and no extraneous noise is to be deplored. This F12 Berlinetta has never been driven on the circuit and has new consumables (1% brakes) .With a last revision in August 2023, this example is ready to hit the road as soon as it is purchased.

The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, unveiled in 2012 at the Geneva Motor Show, is in line with the front-engine V12 models from the prancing horse brand. Replacing the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, it occupies a strategic position in the Italian manufacturer's catalog.
The F12 Berlinetta is powered by a 6.3-liter (6.262cm³) naturally aspirated V12 engine in a central front position. This unit, called F140 FC, generates a power of 740 horsepower (CV) at 8,250 rpm and a torque of 690 Nm at 6,000 rpm. It should be noted that 80% of this torque is available from 2,500 rpm, guaranteeing impressive performances at low speeds.
This power is transmitted to the rear wheels via an automated seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Thanks to this configuration, the F12 Berlinetta is capable of reaching a maximum speed of over 340 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.1 seconds. In terms of chassis, Ferrari used an all-aluminum package, which allows the F12 Berlinetta to have a dry weight of 1,525 kg. The weight distribution is optimized to 46% at the front and 54% at the rear.
In collaboration with Pininfarina, the design of the F12 Berlinetta combines fluid shapes and taut lines. Engineers and designers worked together to integrate advanced aerodynamic solutions, while maintaining an elegant and distinctive aesthetic. Elements such as the AeroBridge, which uses the car's hood to divert airflow to the sides, and the active rear diffuser, contribute to the car's aerodynamic efficiency, making it possible to achieve a very competitive drag coefficient while maximizing downforce.
The F12 Berlinetta is positioned as a GT, a sporty coupe focused on performance but also capable of offering some comfort on long trips. During its production period, Ferrari also presented a more radical version, the F12tdf (Tour de France) as a tribute to historic motor racing. This version offered even greater performance, with a refined engine and specific aerodynamic adjustments.
The Ferrari F12 Berlinetta marks a key step in the evolution of GT V12 from the Maranello firm. With a balance between raw performance, refined design and technical innovations, it is the reflection of century-old know-how, combining the passion for racing with the art of Gran Turismo.
