Our Porsche Macan Turbo was delivered new in 2015 in Germany. Its current owner, since 2016, is registering in France in 2023.
Our copy is in good general condition. In a full Intense Black Metallic configuration, this Macan Turbo has some slight wear defects on the body. The interior elements, such as the leather seats, carbon elements, and the dashboard, are in perfect condition.
In terms of mechanics, our Porsche Macan Turbo is irreproachable. The 400 horsepower 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 is as powerful as it was originally. After the great success of the Porsche Cayenne unveiled in 2002, Porsche opened a new market. Luxury SUVs (Sport Utility Vehicles) are on the rise, so much so that a second model is planned. Announced in 2011, the Porsche Macan was presented at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show.
Descended from Cayenne, the Macan is distinguished by its dimensions and its character. Smaller, less powerful, but also cheaper, it offers an interesting in-between a Cayenne and a 911. The Macan S and the Macan Turbo will be the first two versions in 2014.
The Macan Turbo is equipped with a 3.6-liter twin-turbo V6 engine developing 400 horsepower, and the 7-speed PDK gearbox, marking the end of manual transmissions in SUVs. The whole is integrated in a dynamic style similar to the Panamera. The Macan loses 7 cm in height and 10 cm in length compared to the Cayenne.
The cabin is based on Porsche quality standards, but offers a smaller space than its Cayenne counterpart. These differences allow the Macan to be a real compromise, both sporty and practical.
A great success as soon as it was released, the Macan exceeded 350,000 units produced 4 years after its first appearance, and 800,000 units in 2023, or 30 to 40% of Porsche's annual sales, a historic success.
