Our Porsche Boxster S 987 was delivered new in Germany and put into circulation on February 24, 2010. It was imported into France in 2022 and has 3 owners.
This copy is in a very good general condition. In a Black Schwarz color, combined with 19” Carrera Sport wheels and a black leather interior, there are no flaws in all the elements. Note the presence of an imitation carbon coating covering the hood.
In terms of mechanics, this Boxster S phase 2 is equipped with the 3.4L Flat 6 developing 310 horsepower, combined with a mechanical gearbox. Its operation is flawless. The interviews were carried out at the Porsche Center from 2010 to 2021. The stamped notebook and all invoices are available. The last revisions in 2023 and 2024 involved overhauling the engine, replacing the cooling hose, the rigid coolant line and the clutch pedal switch.

Presented at the 2004 Paris Motor Show to succeed the Boxster 986 first generation, the Boxster 987 has some slight evolutions, still firmly rooted in the Porsche spirit. While its silhouette is very much inspired by that of its predecessor, there are still some interesting details. The front panel has been extensively reworked and integrates optical units that are very different from the 991 997. The Boxster no longer needs to look like the 911 to please. Her hips are widened and put sport in the spotlight. The dimensions remain relatively similar with only 9mm long, 21mm wide and an additional 5mm high.
Under the hood, the Boxster S keeps the Flat 6, here with 3.2L of displacement and 320 horsepower. Phase 2 will quickly make some changes in 2009, with the addition of LED daytime running light strips, a false diffuser and a new engine. The Boxster S maintains the same engine capacity but increases to 310 horsepower with the adoption of direct fuel injection. The major notable innovation is the appearance of the PDK robotic gearbox, which surpasses the Tiptronic.
