Our Porsche Boxster 981 GTS was delivered new in Germany and put into circulation on February 20, 2015. It has 4 owners and was imported to France in November 2018. Its current owner purchased it in 2020.

This copy is in excellent general condition. In its Carrara White color, combined with black rims, red brake calipers, a black leather and alcantara interior with red stitching and carbon elements, this Boxster 981 GTS is completely free of defects.

Its mechanical condition is just as flawless. Its 3.4L Flat 6 engine developing 330 horsepower, combined with the excellent PDK gearbox, does not skimp on sound and sensations. After good and loyal service for nearly 16 years, the Boxster 986/987 generation gave way in March 2012 to the 981 generation. The aesthetics are completely evolving, with many codes taken from the 918 supercar. The car gains in length, wheelbase and stiffness, while lowering and lightening by more than 30 kilos. The Boxster line is still present but much more elaborate, with a few lines and additional details. The cabin has been significantly improved, both in terms of the materials used and the embedded technology.

At the mechanical level, the changes remain relatively small. The 6-cylinder flat engine is available in 2 engines depending on the model, i.e. 3.4L for 315 hp and 2.7L for 265 hp. A logical reduction in cubic capacity, always in order to comply with CO2 emission standards. The 981 Boxster got off to a pretty good start, with sales doubling compared to the 987. The GTS version appeared in 2014, bringing its share of improvements. The sportier presentation, sharpened running gear and increased power to 330 horsepower, all enhanced by a PDK gearbox to reduce emissions. The first mid-engine model to be called GTS, this new version is truly surprising, both in its handling and in its raging sound.

You can quickly distinguish this new version thanks to a front shield with more pronounced air intakes. Black-tinted elements are also included, being a signature of GTS models, especially in terms of the headlight bottoms, monograms and inscriptions at the bottom of the doors. The GTS version obviously comes with the latest options, from the Chrono sports package to the sports exhaust, including the PASM, the Sport Design steering wheel or the Sport seats. As a result, the Boxster GTS surpasses the S in both presentation and performance. Despite some 25 kilos more with the various equipment, the Flat 6 gains 15 horsepower and 10 Nm of torque, which will allow it to take a slight advantage on the circuit.
