Our Porsche 911 Type 997.1 Carrera, with only 88,000 KM on the clock, was put into circulation on September 7, 2005 in France (Option code C05). Its current owner purchased it in 2016.
This copy comes in a Seal Grey Metallic shade, complemented by a black leather interior. Its general condition is impeccable, both in terms of the body and the interior.
Under the hood, this 997 Carrera is powered by the 3.6L flat-six developing 325 horsepower, combined with a manual gearbox. It benefits from a sports exhaust added as an aftermarket, further reinforcing the sound of the engine. Its maintenance was carried out exclusively in Porsche Centers and at recognized specialists. The complete history, with invoices and maintenance log, is available. The last revision was carried out in summer 2023. The IMS has been strengthened. The consumables are in very good condition, and the rear brake discs will be changed for sale. No costs are to be expected.
Here are the options and equipment available to this copy:
The Porsche 911 Type 997, the sixth generation of the famous 911, was produced from 2004 to 2013. Succeeding the 996, it brought significant developments in terms of design and technology. The return of the oval “bug eye” headlights, replacing the fried egg headlights of the previous model, marked a major visual break, recalling the classic 911s. 18-inch wheels became standard, and the “S” model offered a more powerful version with sporty suspension and exhaust.
The range has expanded over the years, with the Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, Turbo, GT3 and GT2, as well as Targa versions, featuring the iconic glass roof. In 2009, a major update introduced direct injection and the PDK dual-clutch transmission, making the models faster, lighter, and fuel-efficient. The 997 Turbo, with its new all-wheel drive and torque vectoring system, could go from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3 seconds with the PDK.
Although the 997 was more of an evolution than a revolution, it received mostly positive reviews. Even Jeremy Clarkson, known for his reticence about Porsche, praised the 997's ability to “thrill the soul.”
