Our Porsche 911 Type 992 Carrera 4S was delivered new in Italy and put into circulation in October 2019. It was purchased by its first owner at the Porsche Center Turin, then by its current owner in January 2024.

This example is in new condition, consistent with its low mileage of 16,322 kilometers. In a metallic Gentian Blue color, combined with gray RS Spyder Design rims, red brake calipers and a two-tone Slate Gray and Chalk Gray leather interior, this 992 Carrera 4S is free of defects.

Mechanically, its operation is flawless. The 3.0L Flat 6 developing 450 horsepower, combined with the 8-speed automatic transmission, perfectly delivers its power to all 4 wheels and a nice sound. The interviews were carried out at the Toulouse Porsche Center and numerous invoices are available. The last revision was carried out in October 2023.

Since its launch during the 993 generation of the 911, the Carrera 4S version has seen several lives. Its interest in the range and its specificities have evolved during each of the 5 generations of 911. Its first appearance was noted at the end of the 90s, replacing a Porsche that was most appreciated by enthusiasts, the 911 Turbo Look. The Carrera 4S will therefore have a lot to do from its launch, but will not disappoint anyone thanks to a more complete recipe. The body maintains its wider wings, while the brakes and suspension are borrowed directly from the 993 Turbo. The all-wheel drive is obviously a big positive point, all accompanied by enriched equipment with leather upholstery, high-end sound system and more. Success was immediate, even if the most purists preferred 2-wheel drive models.

The Carrera 4S continued its momentum and joined the 996 generation catalog. Success is still there, especially since the Carrera 4S is considered by many to be the most successful of the 996. Its body taken from the Turbo and its famous red band between the taillights are no stranger to it. The versatility offered thanks to the chassis, the running gear and the new 320hp 3.6 naturally aspirated engine will finally convince buyers. Its transition to the 997 generation was marked by the abandonment of the Turbo Look, replaced by simple rear wings widened by 44mm. The width therefore remains the same as for the Turbo, but all of its distinctive elements are abandoned.

The 991 generation maintains aesthetic differentiation, with the central strip that runs across the rear cover. The combination with the 991's thinner taillights is totally successful, becoming a real selling point. Wide wings are still relevant for the time being. Indeed, the latest generation to date abandoned its widened wings and recovered the wings of the 992 Carrera S. Porsche justifies this change by having wings that were already very large on the Carrera S. For the sake of consistency of design, the 4S could not then have the usual wings of previous generations. However, as a result of these changes, the Carrera 4S becomes relatively similar to what the S offers, with additional all-wheel drive. The embedded technology remains of superior quality, allowing the Carrera 4S to be the model at the forefront of its generation, another argument to justify its purchase.
