Our Mercedes-Benz W125 300 SEL was delivered new in France to the Garage Moderne Saint Denis and put into circulation on March 24, 1986. It was purchased by its current owner in 2022.
This example comes in a Navy Blue color, combined with gray Gullideckel alloy wheels and a Camel interior. An optional sunroof completes its configuration. All of its components are in excellent condition, which is notable for its age and mileage.
Mechanically, its 188-horsepower 6-cylinder engine, combined with the 5-speed automatic gearbox, operates flawlessly. The interviews were carried out at a Mercedes-Benz dealership for 30 years, then with specialists since 2015. A complete invoice file and the maintenance log are available, with all operations and the reference of each part recorded in the latter. The last revision is carried out in 2023. More than €20,000 of work has been carried out to maintain this copy in good condition since it was put into circulation.
Here are the options and equipment available to this copy:
- Sunroof
- 12 volt passenger outlet
- Footrest
- Passenger center armrest
The Mercedes-Benz W126 is a series of vehicles manufactured by the German brand since September 1979. Presented as the successor to the W116 range, the W126 model is the second generation of Mercedes-Benz flagship vehicles to officially bear the name S-Class, in reference to Sonderklasse or “special class”. The W126 was first offered in a six-cylinder version, with a V8 engine and with a turbo diesel engine. In September 1981, 2-door coupe versions of the W126 were introduced.
The W126 S-Class ushered in a new Mercedes-Benz design style that was later used on other vehicles in the Mercedes range. The W126 was produced for twelve years between 1979 and 1991, the longest generation of S-Class since the flagship models were built in the mid-1950s. The various bodies of the W126 S-Class were sold in 892,123 copies (818,063 sedans and 74,060 Coupes), making the W126 the most popular S-Class ever produced.
