This 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback was imported from the United States in 2015 before being acquired by its current owner the same year. Since then, it has benefited from a complete and meticulous restoration at Vintage Garage, totaling more than 700 hours of work and an investment of €37,000.
Presented in a black hue with a red interior, this Mustang stands out for its remarkable condition. Despite a painting that dates back 10 years, only three small impacts of a few millimeters are visible. The interior is in perfect condition, and the on-board instrumentation is fully functional, except for the heating, which was disconnected during the restoration.
Under the hood, this Mustang houses a 289 CI (4.7L) engine coupled to an automatic transmission. The mechanical unit is in very good condition, thanks to rigorous maintenance by specialists. A maintenance was carried out in January 2025 at 44,000 km. Note that this Mustang was appraised after work in 2018 for €80,000.

The Ford Mustang Fastback, introduced in 1965, is an iconic version of the first Mustang generation, itself launched in 1964. This model is distinguished by its roof that slopes backwards, giving it a more dynamic look and improving its aerodynamics. The Mustang Fastback builds on the impressive success of the Mustang, which exceeded sales expectations in the first year. Designed under the direction of Lee Iacocca, the Mustang was designed as an affordable sports car, using mechanical components from the Ford Falcon to reduce production costs.
The Fastback, added to the range in September 1964, offered a design inspired by race cars and was intended for performance enthusiasts. Under the hood, there were several engines, from the modest in-line six-cylinder to the powerful 4.7L V8 (289 ci). The success of the model prompted Ford to multiply the variants and to face competition from Chevrolet and Dodge. In particular, the Mustang Fastback became famous thanks to its appearance in the movie. Bullitt (1968), reinforcing its status as an automotive icon. Today, it remains one of the most popular models by collectors and muscle car enthusiasts.
