Our 2019 Ford Mustang Bullitt was delivered new in France and put into circulation on June 13, 2019. It has only known two owners since its delivery.
This copy is in excellent general condition, close to new. In a Dark Highland Green hue, combined with black rims, red brake calipers, and an interior with Recaro black leather seats and green stitching, this Ford Mustang Bullitt is free from reproach.
Mechanically, our car is very healthy, thanks in particular to its very low mileage of 11,700 kilometers. Its 5.0L V8 engine developing 460 horsepower, combined with the 6-speed manual transmission, is as expressive as ever. She was interviewed by Motorcar Paris Est, and has all of her invoices. The last revision is carried out in 2023.

October 1968, the American blockbuster “Bullitt” came out of the Hollywood studios. The Ford Mustang driven by the famous Steve McQueen crosses the streets of San Francisco at full speed, chased by a Dodge Charger R/T. Ten minutes of an intense breathtaking chase by Peter Yates that will give birth to an automotive legend: the 1969 Ford Mustang Bullitt.
In 1968, Warner Bros. ordered two Ford Mustangs for the British director's movie “Bullitt”. These are two Fastback GT 390 models powered by the 320-horsepower V8 big block. A few adjustments were made to these two models: the absence of Ford badges, the modified rims, the taillight surround and the Shelby GT500 steering wheel, the result of a slight conflict between the manufacturer and McQueen.
After filming in 1970, the Model 559 was sold for the modest sum of $3500 to an employee at Warner Bros. before belonging to a certain Robert Kiernan. The No. 558 Mustang Bullitt was found in a Mexican junkyard in 2016, then recovered and restored in California.
To mark the 40th anniversary of the film, in 2008, the Ford USA group marketed a new Mustang GT in a Bullitt edition limited to 7700 copies, all numbered. Using the same codes as the original model, the 2008 GT Bullitt does not have Ford logos and its spoiler. It is equipped with 18-inch two-tone wheels.
More recently, during the 2018 North American Auto-Show in Detroit, Ford decided to perpetuate the myth by offering a new Bullitt limited edition on the latest generation of Mustang. It still has the magnificent “Dark Highland Green” paint in accordance with the color of the 1968 Bullitt. From the rims to the absence of logos, to the white gear knob, all the details are again present on this latest version. This ultimate Bullitt is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 whose power has been increased to 460 horsepower. Equipped as an added bonus with a specific exhaust, this Mustang has enough to make the Bullitt myth resonate once again through the streets of San Francisco.
