This Ferrari Testarossa, with only 56,287 KM on the odometer, was put into circulation on 2 March 1989. Sold by us to its current owner in March 2024, the latter benefited from numerous fees to perfect its presentation.
This Testarossa comes in its iconic Rosso Corsa shade, combined with a perfectly preserved Black leather interior. Recent work includes a complete overhaul, paint touch-ups, work on the interior upholstery, the addition of power steering, the installation of a stainless steel exhaust line (Orbisound) to enhance the sound of the 12 cylinder, as well as the addition of Schedoni suitcases, a tribute to the only option on the Testarossa. This Testarossa is equipped with its original radio as well as Bluetooth. In addition, it also includes its original case and its original tool set.
Equipped with a 4.9L 12-cylinder engine delivering 390 horsepower, coupled to a mechanical gearbox, this Testarossa works perfectly. Power steering was installed to improve comfort while respecting the spirit of the model. The mechanical condition is excellent, with no costs to be expected.
All invoices and the complete maintenance book are available, attesting to the rigorous monitoring of this exceptional vehicle. The last revision, including all the necessary work, was carried out on 20 August 2024. The consumables are in excellent condition.
The Ferrari Testarossa, presented in 1984 at the Paris Motor Show, is the heir to the 512 BB and represents a new era for Ferrari. Developed to meet growing safety and emissions requirements, it combines performance and innovation in the supercar segment.
Its distinctive design, signed Pininfarina, is marked by its famous side slits. These elements, much more than decorative, allow air to be directed to the radiators mounted on the sides, a solution that optimizes weight distribution by eliminating the front radiators. The name “Testarossa,” meaning “red head,” refers to the red rocker covers on its 4.9-liter, 390-horsepower, flat-12 engine. Combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox, the Testarossa reaches 290 km/h and reaches 100 km/h in just over 5 seconds.
Produced from 1984 to 1991, it then evolved into the 512 TR and F512 M, the latter offering technical and stylistic improvements. Famous for its role in popular culture, especially in Miami Vice, the Testarossa remains one of Ferrari's iconic models. Its daring silhouette and its performances marked the 1980s, consolidating its status as an automotive icon.
