Our Audi R8 V8, with 100,000 KM on the odometer, was put into circulation in France on April 1, 2009. Its current owner purchased it in 2024, becoming the third owner of this model.
This copy comes in a White color, combined with a Black leather interior. The body is in excellent condition, as is the interior, which is in good overall condition. Note the presence of the carbon pack in the cabin.
Under the hood, this R8 is equipped with the 4.2L naturally aspirated V8 developing 420 horsepower, coupled to an automatic transmission. Its mechanical condition and its functioning are irreproachable. The maintenance was exclusively carried out at Audi, with complete follow-up and invoices available. The first-generation Audi R8 V8, unveiled in 2006 at the Paris Motor Show, is the first production model designed by Audi Sport GmbH (formerly quattro GmbH). Inspired by the Audi Le Mans quattro concept presented in 2003, it is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo platform and uses an Audi Space Frame aluminum structure, produced in Neckarsulm.
This first version is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.2 FSI V8 engine developing 420 horsepower at 7,800 rpm and 430 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. This engine, originally from Audi, is derived from that of the RS4 B7 and incorporates dry sump lubrication, a technology derived from competition. The power is transmitted to all four wheels by the quattro system, with a rear-oriented distribution.
The Audi R8 V8 is offered with a six-speed manual gearbox or an R-Tronic robotic gearbox. It is also the first production car to be equipped with full LED headlights. Its dynamic handling, refined with experience gained in endurance racing, has earned it praise, especially from Jacky Ickx, who describes it as “the best performing road car today”. In 2012, the R8 received a restyling before giving way to a new generation in 2015.
