Our Porsche 911 Type 997.1 Turbo was put into circulation on May 9, 2008 in Italy before being imported to France in 2011. It has only known three owners since its first laps.
This copy comes in a Slate Grey Metallic shade, combined with a Cocoa Brown leather interior. The cabin benefits from extended leather, steel door sills and a sunroof. The condition of the body is excellent, as are the interior and the on-board instrumentation, which do not have any notable defects.
Mechanically, this 997 Turbo is equipped with the Flat-6 3.6L twin-turbo developing 480 horsepower, coupled to a manual gearbox. Note the presence of the Sport Chrono Pack. Its maintenance was exclusively carried out by Porsche specialists, with a complete maintenance book and all invoices available. The last revision was carried out in 2024. The consumables are in good condition, with 50% brake pads.
Here are the options and equipment available to this copy:
The Porsche 997.1 Turbo, unveiled in 2006, is the supercharged version of the sixth generation of the 911. It succeeds the 996 Turbo and adopts a design closer to classic 911s, with the return of oval headlights. Its 3.6-liter flat six-cylinder engine, based on the Mezger block derived from the 911 GT1, develops 480 hp and 620 Nm of torque, with a temporary overboost to 680 Nm thanks to the Sport Chrono package.
It is the first production Porsche to use variable geometry turbos (VTG), reducing engine response time. All-wheel drive and Porsche Traction Management (PTM) ensure optimal traction. With the six-speed manual transmission, it reaches 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, and 3.7 seconds with the Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The top speed is 310 km/h.
It was offered as a coupe and, in 2007, in a cabriolet version. PCCB ceramic brakes are available as an option. Lighter than the 996 Turbo thanks to aluminum, it maintains a retractable spoiler and side air intakes. The 997.1 Turbo remains one of the last 911 Turbos with a Mezger engine before the arrival of the DFI block on phase 2.
