Our Maserati Quattroporte S Q4 GranSport was delivered new in France and put into circulation on March 27, 2019 after a purchase from Maserati Lyon. She only knows two owners, including the current owner since November 2021.

This copy is in excellent general condition. In a Maratea Gray color, combined with silver 5-spoke rims, red brake calipers, a black leather interior with red stitching and numerous carbon elements, this Quattroporte is in very good condition. A repair of the rims with some scratches will be done for sale.

At the mechanical level, the operation of the V6 Bi-Turbo is flawless. Combined with the 5-speed ZF automatic transmission, it distills out a delicious score and offers the original 410 horsepower. In the 1960s, Maserati diversified its production. Under the impetus of the Orsi family, the Maserati Quattroporte was created in 1963. A revolution for the brand, this Quattroporte is the first Maserati which, as its name suggests, has 4 doors. It then offers comfort and luxury, while offering the performance of a GT engine.

The design is created by Pietro Frua, based on a clear inspiration from the 5000 GT coupe that he himself designed in a single copy. The unibody body has an impressive size with no less than five meters in length, inducing a significant weight of 1800 kilos. The 260 horsepower of the 4136 cc V8 still manage to take the Quattroporte to 220 km/h. The 5-speed ZF gearbox will be combined with a new optional engine in 1969, in this case the 4.7-liter V8 from the Ghibli. A second version was then presented at the Paris and Geneva Motor Show, the Quattroporte of the Citroën era. A big change, the V8 engine was replaced by a 190hp 3.0L V6 and the Quattroporte became front-wheel drive. The size is even more impressive, with a wheelbase of three meters and a length of 5.13 meters. In contrast to its predecessor, this version will be abandoned. Only thirteen Quattroporte cars will be manufactured.

The years 1976 saw the return of the Quattroporte, this time developed thanks to the expert hands of Alessandro De Tomaso and Giugiaro. The Turin Motor Show welcomes the new version equipped with the 4.2-liter Maserati V8. In 1981, it received the 4.9-liter V8, developing 270 horsepower. The 2 tons are no longer a problem thanks to the increased power, allowing in particular to reach 230 km/h. Nicknamed Rolls-Royce transalpine, the third version of the Quattroporte will have no less than 2,141 units built. The fourth version appeared in 1994 following the takeover of Maserati by the Fiat group thanks to the pencil of Marcello Gandini. As successful as ever, the Quattroporte was produced for a 5^th And a 6^thgeneration, breaking with the past thanks in particular to more sensual lines by Pininfarina. The V8 engine is now associated with the base version, with no less than 400 horsepower. The Quattroporte is voted the world's fastest hatchback with a top speed of 273 km/h, surpassed by the Bentley Continental GT Flying Spur.

In 2018, after more than 55 years of existence, the Maserati Quattroporte returned with a new version equipped with the 2016 restyling, the SQ4 GranSport. V6 biturbo with 410 horsepower, maximum speed of 283 km/h and 0 to 100 km/h in 4.9 sec, the last-generation Quattroporte does not skimp on performance, while maintaining the luxury characteristic of the model. The dimensions are as important as ever, while the body becomes very aggressive thanks to a long curved hood. The headlights are thinner and the wings feature Maserati's aesthetic signature: three vents that recall the exhaust outlets of previous models. The interior is more than generous in terms of space for both driver and passengers. The adjustable steering wheel pairs perfectly with carbon paddles, a center console with a screen and optional full carbon customization. This S Q4 GranSport lives up to its badge and continues the tradition of the Maserati 4-door model.
