Our Ferrari 575M Maranello, put into circulation on July 17, 2002, is distinguished by its exceptionally low mileage of 14,000 KM (8,700 miles). Imported from the United States in March 2012, it had two French owners, the last of which in May 2021.
This model comes in the iconic Rosso Corsa shade, combined with a Beige leather interior. The body and interior are in perfect condition, with no faults to report. The on-board instrumentation works perfectly, and no costs are to be expected.
Under the hood, this Ferrari is equipped with the 515-horsepower naturally aspirated V12 engine, coupled with an F1 automatic gearbox, the first in its history. Its operation is flawless. The Ferrari 575M Maranello (Type F133), launched in 2002, is a two-door, two-seat grand touring coupe, succeeding the 550 Maranello. It was replaced by the 599 GTB in 2006. The name “575M” refers to its 5.7 liter engine and the abbreviation Modificata, pointing out improvements over its predecessor.
The naturally aspirated V12 F133E engine develops 515 horsepower and a torque of 588 Nm, allowing a maximum speed of 325 km/h and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds. Ferrari introduced a 6-speed “F1" robotic gearbox for the first time, in addition to a traditional manual gearbox. Adaptive suspensions, controlled by the transmission, reduce body movements during gear changes.
In 2005, Ferrari launched the GTC package, including Brembo ceramic brakes, sports suspension and specific rims. The 575M also gave birth to the Superamerica, a cabriolet version with an electrochromic rotating roof, of which 559 copies were produced.
Finally, a racing version, the 575 GTC, developed for the FIA GT, was equipped with a 600-horsepower engine and specific aerodynamics. Despite some successes, it proved to be less efficient than its competitors.
