Launched in February 2003 and equipped with 65,000 km, this silver-gray Ferrari 360 Modena Spider is in excellent condition, thanks in particular to the care provided by its owner and to exclusive interviews with Ferrari specialists only in France. Sold new by the Pozzi Ferrari dealership, it has total traceability. The various necessary and expensive interventions have been carried out, in particular the replacement of the clutch and the timing belt, and maintenance and a check-up will be done for the sale, allowing you to have no costs to expect.
This Ferrari 360 Modena Spider has some notable additions that make it possible to improve the pleasure, driving comfort and style of the latter by one level. It has a Tubistyle exhaust adjustable by remote control producing a magnificent sound, a reversible elytra door opening kit worth €4,600, a “Challenge” rear grill, an additional flashing brake light, an additional flashing brake light, a rear view camera and a Pioneer car radio with GPS and Bluetooth.
Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 1999, the 360 Modena had the heavy task of marking a real break with its predecessors and thus taking Ferrari from the 20th century to the 21st century. But it is not easy to replace a car that has been unanimously acclaimed such as the F355. Many criticisms have therefore been made about its design considered too smooth by some.
The pop-up headlights and taut lines present on its predecessors are therefore replaced by fixed optics, and rounder lines, resulting from considerable work on aerodynamics in the wind tunnel. The 360 has a completely new front end, devoid of a radiator grill, replaced by two air intakes on either side of its front shield. In addition to its divisive design, the 360 Modena can count on a multitude of technological innovations allowing it to show increased performance and ease of use.
The V8 Cinquevalvole (for 5 valves per cylinder), from the 355, increases to 3.6 liters and develops a maximum power of 400 horsepower at 8500 rpm, barely 300 rpm before the switch. Coupled with the engine, an active exhaust system allows the 360 to enjoy a striking and inimitable sound. A greatly improved electronic management gives the berlinette a behavior that is much more accessible for ordinary people.
As usual, Ferrari does not hesitate to draw on technologies developed in F1 to adapt them to its touring cars. The 360 took full advantage of this tradition by receiving an F1 automatic gearbox, much more efficient and relevant than the 355, a flat bottom, a functional air extractor, as well as an all-aluminum chassis and body, allowing it to have a lower weight compared to the 355, despite its additional 20 cm.
