Our Ferrari 348 TS, with only 56,000 KM on the clock, was put into circulation on April 1, 1992 in France. Its current owner purchased it on May 4, 2018.
This iconic model features a Rosso Corsa shade combined with a black leather interior. The body is in excellent overall condition, and the Targa roof will require painting as part of the sale. Inside, there are no faults to report, as is the case with the on-board instrumentation.
Mechanically, this Ferrari 348 TS is equipped with the 3.4L naturally aspirated V8 delivering 300 horsepower, coupled to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The exhaust has been modified to offer an even more enchanting sound, while maintaining the authenticity of the model.
The maintenance was carried out exclusively by specialists, in particular at Pozzi, and the car has a complete history with a stamped maintenance book. A major overhaul was carried out in 2024, including the distribution and the clutch. The consumables are in excellent condition, and no costs are to be expected. The car comes with its original, complete tool kit.
The Ferrari 348 TS, produced between 1989 and 1995, is a landmark model in the history of the Italian brand. Replacing the 328, it is the last Ferrari V8 developed under the direction of Enzo Ferrari before his death, which gives it a special place in the brand's heritage.
The 3.4-liter V8 engine (Tipo F119) delivered 300 horsepower and was mounted longitudinally, combined for the first time with a transversal manual gearbox. This technical choice, derived from the Formula 1 Ferrari 312T, was highlighted by the “t” in the 348 TS designation (“Trasversale Spider” for the targa version). Ferrari produced 4,228 copies of this model, while the TB coupe version had 2,894.
The design, by Leonardo Fioravanti, incorporates stylistic elements inspired by the Testarossa and the F40, with striated side air intakes and rectangular taillights. These traits reinforced its visual link with the iconic Ferrari models of the time.
The 348 TS also features a Bosch Motronic engine management system, redundant ABS brakes, and a dry sump lubrication system. Its design incorporated a removable subframe, simplifying engine maintenance.
